What is Acupuncture?  Can It Help Me?

The answer may very well be yes!

Acupuncture is part of a complete, ancient Chinese health system.  It’s been practiced for thousands of years in China.  Even when China opened up in the 20th Century and became exposed to Western medicine, the ancient practices were not thrown away for one simple reason – they work.  And today, acupuncture, Tuina Massage, and Chinese herbs can be readily found in Chinese hospitals as part of an integrated total approach.

In the United States, acupuncture is considered complementary to Western medicine, and has gradually gained more respect, interest, and popularity for a variety of concerns.  Chances are great that acupuncture can help you manage your stress and give you an increased feeling of well-being.  Acupuncture has been shown to be potentially helpful with a variety of specific health concerns.  Check out this list published by the World Health Organization to see conditions that have been shown to be effectively treated by acupuncture:  What Does Acupuncture Treat?
